Harvester Bass Club
|Harvester Bass Club is a non- profit bass club that promotes a fair and friendly atmosphere for competitive bass fishing events that are designed to promote sportsmanship, conservation and the improvement of angling. Thanks to our active membership we boast the largest bass fishing club in the Midwest area and are the creators of the original "Tuesday Night Tournament" , which has become a very popular tournament format in the Quad City Area. |
The club meets monthly at the VFW 2153 Hall, 7th Street, Moline, Illinois. We encourage family participation at all of our events and we promote the "Get Children Hooked on Fishing, Not Drugs" theme year round. Our annual membership fees are very reasonable and our club is open to general public for membership. We have many guest speakers throughout the year discussing public safety and waterway issues with members. Factory representatives/vendors are invited to display their products and discuss usage and techniques, which allows our membership access to current information available on a wide range of outdoor products. D.N.R. advisories, safety and local issues are brought to the members attention for discussion and actions as required.
We offer a full schedule of competitive fishing tournament events throughout the year and proudly sponsor the "Reeling It In for Red Cross CharityTournament". We also support the newly established Moline High School “Maroons” Fishing Program with volunteer coaches and donated equipment in an effort to establish a competitive fishing team for State events. Our tournament schedule also promotes the popular McDermott-Carstens Fest Tournament, which like all our events is well-attended and all participants involved appreciate the benefits brought to the Quad Cities community by their participation.
We thank you for interest in the Harvester Bass Club and hope to see you at our next meeting!
