|Cabin Fever Bass Club was a non-federated bass club established out of Waltham, MA, in 1999 ,in the early months of 2004, we as a club decided for the good of all club members and the club itself, it would be best for us to join the MassBass Federation. Over the years the MassBass Federation changed hands and went over to FLW/TBF, the club decided to roll with the changes as they felt it was the best option for the club and stay with the FLW/TBF rather than B.A.S.S.|
We were founded on the principles of bass fishermen/women throughout the country who have concern for the improvement of the environment and its resources. We promoted sportsmanship and friendly exchange among fellow members, and provided a basis for learning and improving bass fishing skills and techniques. We looked to support youth activities, and when it was possible to become involved in any conservation and legislative issues affecting the environment. Above all, we felt the number one priority is the fishery itself. We considered Cabin Fever Bass Club a mid level club for most where one could sample tournament fishing and enjoy friendly competition. A few members of our club had many years of tournament fishing experience, and just love to fish and compete. Others were very new to the sport yet grew along with the club and went on to be very competitive fisherman/women from the benefit from the other member's knowledge & experience. Our main priority was friendship, experience and concern for our great waters and passionate sport.
