Shady Tree Bassmasters
|Shady Tree Bassmasters is a medium sized bass club located in Richmond, Virginia. We fish all the navigable waters from the Potomac River to Buggs Island and everything in between. Since founded in 1997, we have been proudly affiliated with the Virginia Chapter of the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.) Federation Nation.|
The Shady Tree Bassmasters is a medium sized bass fishing club located in Richmond, Virginia. The club is a member of the Virginia Chapter of the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.) Federation Nation.
The club accepts new members throughout the year. Those new members can be either boaters or non-boaters. All members are required to be a member of B.A.S.S.
The club schedule consist of 10 club tournaments and one fun tournament. Tournament waters consist of places such as the James River, Potomac River, Lake Anna and Buggs Island. The tournaments are on ten different bodies of waters in the state of Virginia. Tournament locations are voted on by the Tournament Committee in November of each year then presented to the general club membership during the December and February meetings.
Monthly club meetings are held on the first Monday of every month except January. (The September meeting is held on the second Monday of the month due to the holiday.) Meetings are held in the 2nd floor conference room of Capital GMC on Laburnum Ave in Richmond, Virginia and begin at 7:00 p.m.
