|We are a fellowship of bass anglers committed to FUN in fishing. We exist to help each other gain fishing knowledge and skills, through enjoyment and sharing of information. Of primary importance is the camaraderie we share in helping each other become better anglers. Also important is the forum of friendly competition we provide through club tournaments. We are also committed to conservation and protection of the fisheries resource, not only in thoughts and actions, but with financial assistance as well.|
NHBA is a bass fishing club centered in the Northern Virginia area. Our members come from Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, and other nearby jurisdictions. We fish a wide array of lakes and rivers including the Potomac, Lake Anna, the James River, the Rappahannock River, Lake Gaston, Buggs Island, Smith Mountain Lake and more.
If you are in our area and interested in bass fishing, we invite you to join us. We also invite you to join our discussion forum to talk about bass fishing, tips and techniques, fishing lures, rods and reels, fishing reports, and other aspects of bass fishing, as well as boats and boating safety.
