Fishing Report - St. Clair - SE Michigan - 21/06/2008
Report: The Detroit River Walleye fishing has slowed but if you like Silver Bass there are plenty. Minnows on small jigs are doing the trick.

Please release the Smallmouth Bass they are not in season until Saturday. Opener should be fantastic.

Moving upstream good Walleye fishing can be found in the dumping ground area of Lake St. Clair. In-line crawler harnesses plus early morning fishing equals a limit of “eyes." Walleyes have also been taken regularly off the weed beds at Metro Beach in 8 to 12 feet of water. The Perch are showing up near the Ruscum River on the Canadian side of the lake.

There are Walleyes in the above location as well. St. Clair River has been producing nice fish. Most of the action is whipping/trolling in the evening
